The North Easts only mobile coffee business recommended by the Indy Coffee Guide (in fact the only one between Scotland and Hull).

Created in 2020 by the owner after taking the leap to leave the corporate life behind, and do something more creative.  It was supposed to also create a better work/life balance as they approached retirement!  Oh how wrong she was about that!  But the labour of love has become an established go to spot when looking for great coffee.

Our talented baristas serve speciality coffee from Rounton Coffee Roaster in Northallerton and since starting in 2020, we’ve raised the bar for well made, quality coffee in Hartlepool and lead the emerging coffee culture in the town.

Often at the head of a trend, you’ll find the next big thing at The Seahorse Coffee Box for you to try. A choice of coffee beans and brewing methods is always on offer at The Seahorse and our menus change with the seasons.

Summer is all about the iced coffees; latte, cold brew and dalgona are the favourites. You’ll also find iced teas, Sodas, Coolers, milkshakes and frappes!

Come the autumn, its all change for our hand made luxury hot chocolates. Made with our own recipe chocolate sauce, you can try it as it comes or a luxury flavoured one with all the trimmings.

All year round you’ll find the above underpinned by excellent speciality coffee every day.

We take our responsibility to the environment just as seriously as our responsibility to make delicious coffee! We are a Carbon Literate Accredited business, and all our cups and lids (hot and cold) are composable, as well as beautiful!

Whilst coffee and drinks are our priority, of course there’s always cake on offer. We use local bakers and small batch bakers who make them by hand.  We also cater for vegan and gluten free customers  in our drinks and cakes.

If you like our coffee and want to brew it at home; we also sell retail size coffee beans and grounds, as well as home brewing equipment.

Trading from a picturesque location opposite The Green, you’d be hard pressed to find a more breath-taking view whilst you enjoy your coffee.
